DMP is where you look at production capability rather than finished goods: machine tools, moulds, automation, tooling and industrial components. If you are qualifying a factory for a complex part, this is more useful than a consumer goods fair.

Usually late November at the Guangdong Modern International Exhibition Center, Houjie, Dongguan. Dates are announced closer to the event — check with the organiser.

Who it suits

  • Buyers sourcing machined, moulded or tooled parts;
  • Buyers assessing whether a supplier owns the process or subcontracts it;
  • Buyers combining the show with factory visits in Dongguan or Shenzhen.
