We publish indicative ranges, not a fixed price list. The same job costs different amounts in Shenzhen and in Suzhou, in one day and in a five-factory week — so what follows is where each product starts, and what moves the number.

Ranges are in CNY; for orientation ¥7.1 ≈ US$1, and the written quote is issued in CNY. Travel and accommodation outside the resident cities, samples, laboratory testing, certification and government fees are passed through at cost with receipts. A written quote supersedes any range on this page.

How we charge

  • Factory sourcing and verification — per factory, not per hour. One site audit is one unit; a five-factory week is five units plus travel.
  • Supply chain execution — per order cycle, or a fixed monthly retainer when you have ongoing production.
  • Interpreting and translation — per day or half-day on site; per project for documents.
  • Trade shows and business visits — per day on site; itinerary planning is priced separately when we build it.

What moves the fee

  • City — Shenzhen, Dongguan, Foshan and Guangzhou are resident; Yiwu, Ningbo, Suzhou and Shanghai are by project schedule and carry travel.
  • Category — a commodity part needs one visit; a complex assembly with tooling needs process review and often a second trip.
  • Depth — an entity check, a one-day site audit and a full process audit are three different products.
  • Number of factories — the first three cost more per unit than the next three, because travel is shared.
  • Notice — under a week usually means whichever interpreter or inspector is still free, or paying to re-arrange a schedule.

What is not in the fee

Third-party costs are passed through at cost with receipts: travel and accommodation outside the resident cities, sample and courier charges, laboratory testing, certification bodies and any government fee. We do not mark these up, and we do not pay them on your behalf without written agreement.

How a quote is produced

  1. You send the brief — category, city, quantity, timeline.
  2. We confirm scope: what is included, what is not, and what we still need from you.
  3. You receive a written quote with the deliverable list and the dates those deliverables arrive.

Questions we get on price

  • Can you quote from a photo? For sourcing, sometimes. For an audit, no — the scope depends on the process, and the process is not in the photo.
  • Is there a minimum? Yes, one site visit or one document. We do not run half-day projects.
  • Do you take a percentage of the order? Only for supply chain execution, and only when we carry the follow-up. Sourcing is quoted flat.
