Held in Shanghai in early March, the East China Fair is the first major export fair of the Chinese calendar and the most focused of the big shows on light industrial goods: apparel, fabrics, houseware and gifts.

35th session

1–4 March 2027, Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC), Pudong. About 126,500 sqm and roughly 5,000 booths across 14 zones. Verified against the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce notice of 9 October 2026; the zone structure was revised for this session.

Who it suits

  • Buyers in apparel, textiles, houseware or seasonal gifts who would rather walk one show than three;
  • Buyers who want exporters in the aisles, not trading companies;
  • Buyers combining Shanghai with a Jiangsu or Zhejiang factory trip.

Who it does not suit

Industrial and technical categories. Machinery, auto parts and electronic components are thin here.
